Hiring: Quality Supervisor / Inspector – Fabrication Shop

Location: Rudrapur, Uttarakhand

Salary: Negotiable

Full-Time | On-Site | Immediate Joining Preferred

Department: Quality Assurance – Fabrication

We are seeking a Quality Supervisor/Inspector to join our fabrication unit in Rudrapur. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance, mechanical inspection tools, and industry documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials and bought-out components

Perform in-process inspections during fabrication, welding, and assembly processes

Final Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) of finished goods before shipment

Maintain and update quality documents, inspection records, and reports

Ensure compliance with technical drawings and product specifications

Use instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, etc., for precise measurement

Coordinate with production and purchase teams for quality feedback and corrective actions

Assist in audits and implement quality improvement initiatives within the shop floor

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in fabrication/production quality inspection

Strong knowledge of mechanical measuring instruments

Familiarity with quality standards, formats, and documentation

Basic understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, welding, and finishing

Ability to read engineering drawings / fabrication blueprints

Good communication and team coordination skills

Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field preferred
