Assist the Quality Head in managing quality processes, ensuring adherence to standards, and achieving customer satisfaction (e.g., Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland) with zero defects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage quality control processes, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and customer standards.
- Address customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (8D, 7 QC tools, CAPA).
- Oversee quality audits, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to ISO and IATF standards.
- Train and lead the quality team, driving a zero-defect culture and continuous improvement.
- Implement 5S and Lean practices to enhance shop efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. Quality certifications preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, IATF 16949).
- *Experience:* 5+ years in quality management, preferably in a machine shop or automotive manufacturing.
- *Skills:* Expertise in quality tools, root cause analysis, customer interaction, and technical drawing interpretation.
